Notice the key word above –
instantaneous. This means “superluminal” or faster than the speed of light. But
assuming that no signal can travel faster than the sped of light, this must
mean that there is no actual distance separating events. Bell’s theorem can be
interpreted as demonstrating the idea that all that exists – past, present, and
future – should be combined into a single entity whose farthest parts are
joined in an immediate manner. In other words, the world we perceive – the
stars, the planets: the land and seas; the trees, animals, buildings, people –
are all manifestations of a single unmitigated process.

Matter, as we experience
it, seems to be opposed to spirit, otherwise we would easily be able to
manifest and ascertain our spiritual natures from our present state of
existence. Research will show that it is possible, but only on a very limited
level, to a very few people who work very hard and devote their lives to this

prophesied or projected UNITY of spirit
and matter either the spiritual state must become grosser and more material or

though it will be that too. It is not just the beginning of a New Age – it

ancient Mexico saw that the
universe at large is composed of energy fields in the form of luminous
filaments. They saw zillions of
them, wherever they turned to see.
They also saw that those energy
fields arranged themselves into currents of luminous fibers, streams that are constant,
perennial forces in the universe. The current or stream of filaments that is
related to the recapitulation was
named by those sorcerers the dark sea
of awareness, and also the Eagle.

So let’s state the
hypothesis. The only reasonable hypothesis that I can state is the one that
comes from the unknown system taught by Gurdjieff. This system tells us that the
world has a certain purpose. It tells us that not everything works well. It
tells us that there are certain “bugs” in the construction. It is quite
possible that using the meta-language one can prove that any program on that
scale must have bugs. So, the Universe is a program, a program which has bugs,
but which has the built-in capacity for self-improving. There are therefore
certain units that are brought into existence with this specific purpose: to
self-evolve to a degree high enough to be able to find out the methods of
debugging…

What is important here is
that these are general laws – these are objective. There are statistical laws
that are valid “on average” and there are laws that concern each individual
case. But these laws leave a certain rather big freedom. Within this freedom
there is what IS and within this freedom we are given a free hand. Thus not
everything is determined and predictions for the future have the form: If this,
THEN this; IF NOT, then that.

I think that Reality is multi-faceted and multi-leveled and we are
consciously experiencing only one (or a few) of the existing levels and/or
facets. The multi-leveled and multi-faceted Realit includes: many worlds, many
realms, parallel and perpendicular universes, higher dimensions, higher levels
of intelligence and of perception, and very likely a consciousness of which we
cannot even conceive.
Some of these concepts have already been integrated into theoretical
physics (many worlds, parallel universes, higher dimensions), and can be
studied - at least theoretically - with mathematical rigor; while those dealing
with mind, consciousness, intelligence, are yet to be integrated. Once that is
done, once we admit and realize that that material existence is not all that
can be thought of and dealt with using mathematical rigor - new vistas, new
hopes and new goals will appear on the horizon. And by doing this, WE will take
charge of the evolutionary development of life. BY doing this we will choose to
obey our own call from the future. By doing this we will make real what is now
only virtual.
I believe that the Universe has Purpose, that it is much like a computer
program of great complexity, and that "we" - the IGUS-es - have a
role in its evolution. For a while our role can be described simply as
"debugging units." In short, my present answer to the question
"why are we here?" reads: DEBUGGING THE UNIVERSE.
Universes without life, without feedback from the "observers"
have only virtual existence, their future is closed; while "our"
future, as well as the future of "our universe," is in my opinion, to
large extent, OPEN.
The question of existence of other forms of life is, in particular, one
of these tricky questions whose answers are "open". YOU, the Reader,
can choose to live in a universe with a "no" answer, but you can also
choose to live in a "yes" universe.
I am not saying the choice is going to be easy, or possible at all.
Every choice needs an effort. The more important the choice, the more effort it
needs. Without making this effort we are simply machines, and then the choices
are being made for us - either by pure chance or by others.

The universe has no
limits, and the possibilities at play in the universe at large are indeed
incommensurable. So don't fall prey to the axiom, "I believe only what I
see," because it is the bumbest stand one can possibly take.

onion, it has many skins. The world we know is but one of them. Sometimes, we
cross boundaries and enter into another skin: another world, very much like
this one, but not the same.
In the view of
sorcerers, the universe is constructed in layers, which the energy body can cross.

nothing but degrees of awareness. If we accept that the senses are the dark sea of awareness, we have
to admit that the interpretation that the senses make of sensory data is also
the dark sea of awareness.
To face the world around us in the terms that we do is the result of the
interpretation system of mankind with which every human being is equipped.
Every organism in existence has to have an interpretation system that permits
it to function in its surrounding.
The old sorcerers saw that at the moment of
death, the dark sea of awareness
sucked in, so to speak, through the assemblage point, the awareness
of living creatures. They also saw
that the dark sea of awareness
had a moment's, let's say, hesitation when it was faced with sorcerers who
had done a recounting of their lives. Unbeknownst to them, some had done it
so thoroughly that the dark
sea of awareness took their awareness in the form of their life
experiences, but didn't touch their life force. Sorcerers had found out a
gigantic truth about the forces of the universe: the dark sea of awareness wants
only our life experiences, not our life force.

The Life of the Universe is
organized according to a strict and perfect order. All tat appears to be
disorder or anarchy, looks this way to us because of our deficiencies in
perception and judgement. The major part of the “B” influences evade us. Yet in
the economy of the Great Universe, each being or phenomenon has its place.
Each, knowingly or unconsciously serves in the attainment of a precise goal.
